Edge trimmers are designed to remove edge trim side scrap from the strip.  Comprises of upper and lower rotating conveyor assemblies driven from variable speed motor and gearbox.

Heads are adjusted laterally to suit the strip width by AC motor and screw assembly.  Cutter lap and gap settings can be either manually set or auto pre-set through servo drive control system.

Scrap chopper comprises of two cutter anvil assemblies sited each side of the strip to cut the edge trim scrap into small pieces.

Both anvils are driven by variable speed motor and gearbox.  The cutters are arranged in an angular position to increase cutter life and reduce noise level.

Thickness ranges from 0.2 mm soft aluminium to 12 mm high tensile steel.

Turret double headed trimmers are available for continuous high speed strip process application.

The cutter blade gap can either be manually set or auto pre-set through servo drive control system
